Acceptance explores the quiet strength found in no longer fighting against change.
At its centre is a single Fagus leaf, its colour intensifying from warm orange to vivid red. Native to Tasmania, the Fagus transforms each autumn before releasing its leaves — a natural cycle of change, surrender and renewal.
Around it, colour moves in soft, fluid passages, suggesting water and the pull of a current. The leaf does not resist that movement, but travels with it.
Here, acceptance is not resignation or passivity. It is the choice to stop struggling against what cannot be changed and instead move with the flow, allowing life to carry us into what comes next.
Acceptance asks whether sometimes the gentlest response to change is also the strongest: to loosen our hold, trust the current, and let ourselves move with it.
