Echo of Hope considers hope not as certainty or optimism, but as the possibility that something can still emerge when circumstances seem darkest.
Against an almost black ground, a fissure of cool blue-white light cuts through the surface. From within it, a single snowdrop pushes upward — delicate and vulnerable, yet persistent. Its slender stem follows the fracture before reaching beyond it into the surrounding darkness.
The snowdrop, one of the earliest flowers to emerge after winter, becomes a quiet symbol of renewal. The darkness remains; hope does not erase it. Instead, the smallest trace of light creates an opening through which something new can grow.
Part of the Abstract Echoes series, Echo of Hope explores the felt experience of a human virtue through gesture, texture and symbolism — a reminder that sometimes hope begins with nothing more than a crack of light and the possibility of what might come next.
