Echo of Laughter explores the liberating nature of humour through an exuberant interplay of colour, gesture and movement. Against a vibrant field of golden yellow and orange, fragmented forms inspired by theatrical comedy masks emerge and dissolve. Sweeping black lines dance across the surface, while magenta bubbles and unexpected flashes of fluorescent green evoke the infectious, unpredictable rhythm of laughter.
The theatrical references are deliberately fragmented, inviting discovery rather than immediate recognition. There is no tragedy here — only the playful, sometimes absurd expressions of comedy, scattered throughout the composition.
Beneath its exuberance lies a reflection on humour as a human virtue: our ability to find perspective in difficulty, connection through shared amusement, and lightness amid life's complexities.
