Echo of Trust is an abstract exploration of trust as something both strong and vulnerable — built through connection, yet never entirely certain.
A deeply textured blue bloom dominates the composition, its sweeping circular marks emerging from and dissolving into layers of coral, violet and pale atmospheric blue. Across the quieter space, fragmented impressions made with a paperclip appear and disappear, suggesting connections that are present without being fixed or absolute.
Held within the blue is a small yellow gesture. Its form subtly echoes both a heart and the shape of the hands in my original symbolic painting of Trust, creating a quiet link between the two works.
Part of the Abstract Echoes collection, Echo of Trust takes the ideas and visual language of an earlier work and allows them to re-emerge through abstraction. Rather than illustrating trust, the painting asks what it might feel like: connection and uncertainty, openness and vulnerability, held together within a single evolving form.
