Joy is more than a fleeting moment of happiness. It is an expression of our capacity to embrace life, to celebrate connection and to find delight in the world around us.
In Joy Reimagined, the vibrant orange zinnia becomes a symbol of exuberance, warmth and the uplifting power of joy.
With its radiant petals and rich, energetic colour, the zinnia embodies vitality and optimism. Traditionally associated with affection, friendship and enduring connections, it reminds us that joy is often amplified when shared with others.
Woven into the composition is the Chinese Double Happiness symbol (囍), traditionally associated with marriage, celebration and shared happiness. Its presence extends the meaning beyond individual pleasure, recognising the joy found in relationships, belonging and the celebration of life's meaningful moments.
The interplay between botanical realism and expressive abstraction reflects the spontaneous and sometimes unpredictable nature of joy. Colour, movement and symbolism come together in a celebration of the human spirit.
Yet joy need not be constant or overwhelming to be meaningful. It can be found in small moments of beauty, an unexpected connection, a shared laugh or the simple pleasure of being present.
Joy Reimagined invites us to recognise these moments, to embrace them fully and to remember that joy is not merely something we experience, but something we can nurture and share.
For joy, when shared, has a remarkable capacity to grow.
