“The Weight of Quiet Moments” is a contemplative still life that transforms an ordinary jug into a vessel for memory and emotion. Soft, diffused light and gentle shadows invite the viewer to slow down, breathe, and notice the quiet spaces that usually slip past unnoticed.
In keeping with my symbolic realism, the simplicity of the composition is intentional: the jug stands in for the inner life we carry—our unspoken thoughts, small rituals, and the hush that settles at the beginning or end of the day. Through a restrained palette and careful observation of form, this work honours stillness not as emptiness, but as a place where meaning gathers and the most ordinary moments reveal their quiet weight.
